BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Elementary Education 1-6 or Math 5-9.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to students' maturity, interest, and abilities.
- Guide the learning process toward achieving established District curriculum goals, and establish and communicate clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units, and projects.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media.
- Assess students' accomplishments regularly, provide progress reports as required, and communicate with parents as necessary.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administrative regulations.
- Develop a code of conduct for the classroom consistent with the established Student Expectation Code of the District and the assigned building. Develop rules of classroom behavior that are enforced fairly and justly.
- Maintain good attendance.
