Assistant Principal Job Responsibilities Include:
POSITION: High School Assistant Principal/Activities Director
- $80,284 to $93,044 (Depending on education and experience)
- 11 month position
- Full board paid benefits package including health, dental and vision insurances as well as short-term/long-term disability
- 2024-2025 School Year
- 160 day teacher calendar with a 4-day work week (Tuesday-Friday)
- This position is expected to assume the Head Principal position in two years.

Assistant Principal Job Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise students
- Implement and enforce the district’s student discipline policy
- Coordinate and oversee student organizations and activities
- Perform the duties of the principal in the absence of the principal
- Attend student activities and events outside of the academic day
- Supervise hallways and cafeteria
- Assist the principal in creating and maintaining handbooks
- Administer guidance for sports programming.
- Confer with coaches to establish games, events, and practice schedules.
- Work with coaches and the transportation department to determine travel arrangements.
- Establish conference and league schedules.
- Select, recruit, and oversee coaching staff.
- Maintain orderly, clean, and safe facilities and equipment.
- Generate and file team statistics promptly.
- Comply with school, MSHSAA, and other association rules.
- Discuss student eligibility with school administrators.
- Develop and regulate the budget and appropriate spending for equipment, facilities, referees/umpires, and more.
- Master's degree or higher in educational administration
- Current Missouri principal certificate in the appropriate grade levels
